I decided it was time to give my blog a makeover. What do you think? ;)
And... I could not be more delighted to tell you that we're moving! My dad got a new job an hour away for a man he's done landscaping design for in the past, but now he'll be full-time. This is so awesome and we are very, very thankful.
We've decided that a relocation is in order, because Daddy has to be at work at 7:00 in the morning and it's an hour drive to get there from here. And we're looking for a house that's all on one floor so that Mama won't have to navigate a flight of stairs several times a day.
I've created a blog for our lovely log home to show you every little detail about how beautiful it is... please take a moment to look at it and watch the virtual tour. I hope you'll consider telling your friends about it if you know anyone interested in purchasing a log home. :) http://buythislovelyloghome.blogspot.com

I'd love to hear your thoughts on my photography or if you just think our house is pretty! ;)
First, I love the makeover. Could you put it up on 'I Love It!'?
ReplyDeleteSecond, the house is beautiful! If my parents were in the market, I would suggest it to them; it looks like it has LOTS of space.
I LOVE the log home!
ReplyDeleteJulia, the home is GORGEOUS!!! Is it bittersweet at all to leave it?
ReplyDeleteAnd your photography skills are lovely!
Yay for comments!! :D
ReplyDeleteKatelyn,
Thanks! Actually, I did not design this one... I grabbed it for free from Aqua Poppy Designs. It was 2 pages back on the site and I had to scroll down a ways. I think this is the correct link...

Lauren Nicole,
Thank you! We love it too! I hope it goes to good new owners...
Ella,
Yes, dear me, it is bittersweet to be leaving this log home... it was our dream house, but we're looking forward to being in a new city with nicer stores and a great new church... So I'm smiling at the future. :D Also, I will love being able to paint my walls. ;)
Hugs!
~Julia
Oh, and yes, our house does have lots of space. 2,400 square feet of it! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the web site! It looks fantastic and I'm sure ya'll will have some offers soon! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
What a beautiful home! May the Lord bless this new season of life for ya'll!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Love the new design (I've stopped being surprised when you do it now. Haha. Lovely!), love your house, love you! :D I pray your family will be greatly benefited from moving...sounds like it will be wonderful for you all even though you will miss some things about this home. I can't wait to see your new house and the new adventures you'll have and your new room! :D
ReplyDeleteLove you so much!
~Rachel~
Thank you Allison! We hope so! ;)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you, Shannon. I appreciate it. :D
Love you too, my sweet friend Rachel! :D That's exactly it! I'll miss this house but the move will be so good for us. I can't wait either! ;)

LOVE THE HOUSE!! :D
ReplyDeleteTHANKS! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the house! I wish we were looking for house's but we aren't:(
ReplyDeleteHope it sells! -Abby S.
Congratulations to your dad for getting a new full-time job! Job relocation is one of the top reasons many home owners pull up roots and move to an area near to their workplace. Most people would prefer not to get stuck in traffic for an hour or two when commuting.
ReplyDeleteYour log home is lovely. Thanks for that virtual tour; I really enjoyed it! I must say that you found a home that’s not only virtually appealing, but also efficient. Congratulations to your dad too, Julia! =)
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! This is my ideal vacation house! It really looks bright and airy. Its rustic appeal makes the house so interesting. How was the selling process so far? Are there any potential buyers who have checked the house already?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, everyone!
ReplyDeleteAvril, yes, we have had several showings so far. You've certainly pegged it, it has major rustic appeal and is also bright and open. We're still waiting on an offer, and for everything to work out in God's perfect timing. :)
Blessings,
Julia
