First of all, I changed my blog background! :) I really wanted a change... I was getting tired of the orange. :) Now If I could find a red-based fall background I would be completely satisfied, but orange is just really not me. So....what do you think? I'm sorry to dissappoint the girls who voted on the other background... I think I shall do it sometime a few months hence...
And while I'm posting, I thought I'd share a few pictures from my day yesterday with you.
My family and I went to Callaway Gardens and enjoyed the outdoors! They had some very pretty marigolds there that I got some very nice pictures of...
Purple, too!
And Pink! And a gorgeous, glowing, orangey-gold!
Blessings!
Julia
I love the background! :) And I absolutely LOVE the first picture!! All of them are pretty though. :-D

I LOVE the background with the pretty header! It looks so good! Those flowers are SO pretty! I like the purple ones! :D Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI need to post more pictures on my photograhpy blog. I don't have flower shots (since it is colder now) but the tress are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures!
While I'm not crazy about the background, I love the pictures of the marigolds. I think the first ones are especially beautiful because of the multiple colors. :o)
ReplyDeleteBtw...3 days left...and still counting down!!! ;o)
ILY,
Joanna
Btw.....ROFLOL. I just checked out that "your blog is such and such a reading level" and...get this!....you obviously threw a hard word in there somewhere recently....'cause now you're a genius! Hehe. :oD Perhaps tomorrow you'll be "Einstein". Or maybe it goes through the rotation again and you'll have to start at the bottom. Anyway, I got a good laugh from it and thought you would, too. :o)

Hello Ladies,
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you so much for the most enjoyable comments! :)
ILY2, Joanna!!
*laughs uproariously* I just deduced recently what "ROFLOL" stands for. :) Yes, isn't that an interesting widget? Funny, when I looked at it again it said "College, (Undergrad)" Just like usual. Harumph. :) It's a challenge now though, because I'll be tempted to use unusual and quirksome words just to bring the reading level back up! :) Who knows, perhaps my readers will learn some new vocabulary! :)
I'm positively withering away in my anticipation of Friday!!
Awww, the pictures are beautiful! Glad you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia! I do like that pink background, it turned out much better than I thought it would!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I did figure out how to do our blogs background *Sighs of relief*! And, Is the guy that sings with Chris Tomlin, Steven Curtis Chapman, on Unfailing Love? Just Wondering,
Kristin
Counting down:
ReplyDeleteOnly 2 days left! I've got lots of fun ideas running around in my head. Do you have any specific things you want to do to keep us up all night? ;o) Pop popcorn, watch a movie (very glad you liked "Amazing Grace", deary, I do think some parts are absolutely hilarious and some are sooooooo good.....), dance the night away....., talk?????? Anything sound incredibly appealing? Maybe we'll just wing it. :o) But let me know if there's something you were really wanting to do!
You're so funny. My grandpa was pretty confused about "roflol" and even "lol", at first, too. I'm still trying to figure out some of them.........
Joanna
Joelle,
ReplyDeleteThanks!! Yes I did have a good time...I LOVE Callaway. :)
Kristin,
I'm so glad you were able to do a background! Yay for you!! :) I have no idea if Steven Curtis Chapman is singing along with Chris Tomlin on the "Unfailing Love" song...but I don't think so. I'll have to google it or something. :)
Joanna,
Hi deary!! :) I can't wait to stay up all night at your house!! I left you a long comment on your blog with suggestions of stuff to do. :)
Blessings,
Julia
