Hello Everybody!
I have not been checking the blog for a while and now I'm back!
One reason I delayed posting was because I was worrying about the Biblically Feminine post I was planning to do. I am still wondering just how I want to express the thoughts from my heart. Would you consider giving me your input on what characteristics a Biblically Feminine young woman would have? I am open to advice! :)
Thanks so much to Jasmine, who has awarded me with a Kindred Spirit Award!
I am so honored to accept my first blog award! :) I am looking forward to browsing the Kindred Spirit network and meeting other 'kindred spirits'! Now, I have several friends who are also kindred spirits and I would like to award them with this award as well! I award Joanna, Brianna, Breezy, Lydia, Lillie, Mckenzie, Madison, Waiting-Rose, Bethany, Katherine, Laney, Mia, Mia, (both Mias) and I would have awarded Joelle but Jasmine already did. :) Thanks again, Jasmine!Don't forget, please tell me your qualities for a Biblically Feminine young woman!
Julia
Aw, you are so sweet Julia!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much!!
Oh, and on the Biblically Feminine, I did a post several days ago on a real woman. It has a link from the Rebelution. You might want to check that out. They have some really good points.
Madison
Thank you, Julia. :o) I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it, but I'm sure it's a great honor... :o) lol
ReplyDeleteI think the character quality most important in any girl's life (or any Christian's life, really) is being totally, 100% surrendered to God. Easier to say than do, I know. But a daily surrendering rather than a proud and haughty spirit. A meek and quiet spirit is of great price.
I'll miss you Friday, but hope your dad is feeling better soon (please let him know we're praying for him). Hopefully next week, then. :o)
You're very sweet and I love you so much.
Joanna
Thank you for the blog award, Julia!! You're too sweet--this is also my first award as well:)
ReplyDeleteI guess I'd define a biblically femine woman as:
*Understanding her role
*Honoring her parents
*Fully submitting to God
*In the Word daily, and being content!
--The other Mia :)
Thanks Madison, Joanna, and Mia for your input on Biblical Femininity! (I'm so glad you liked being awarded) :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Julia
Thank you so much Julia! How sweet! I've put it on my sidebar...I love it!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...Biblical femininity...
-Modest in both her dress and her actions
-Thoughtful and others/God oriented in all she does.
-Patient...
Does that help?
Thanks again Julia!
luv, Brianna
Thanks Brianna!
ReplyDeleteYes, that does help - I appreciate the input!! I have a lot of work to do before this post will finally be complete. :)
So glad everyone likes the award!
Julia
Hello there! I found you through the Kindred Spirit Network, and I thought I'd say hello.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you. :)
I think Breezy and Mia any of the other young ladies I know were excellent choices. :) Have you ever been to Breezy's sister's blog? She's a sweetheart too!
Blessings!
Miss Jocelyn
Julia,
ReplyDeleteI have absolutely no idea how to paste things in my sidebar. Like I said, Livejournal is pretty 'old', so I'm not even sure you can paste things in its sidebar. Maybe you can show me when you come up next... :o)
Joanna
Thanks for awarding me! I am going to put it on my blog right now! Thanks again! Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove and Prayers,
Laney
